Trampoline Repairs, is your trampoline worth fixing?
Most trampoline repairs involve fixing or repairing the trampoline mat. Either holes need to be repaired or the stitching holding the v-rings need fixing. Most of the time these repairs can be done.
If you're considering ordering a trampoline repair kit, it's important to know that sometimes an industrial sewing machine is needed to make these repairs. If you have access to this type of sewing machine, then repairing the trampoline yourself, is a definite option.
If you're like me, I don't know of anyone with an industrial sewing machine, therefore I need to send my mat in for any trampoline repairs. Most of the time your trampoline mat is worth repairing, but there are situations where the mat may be on repair or beyond being cost effective.
Holes that are larger than 1 inch, most of the time will not be repaired by shops who do repairs to mats. I believe that holes larger than this are hard to make secure because of the stress the mat is put through. Also, if your trampoline mat has numerous holes in it, repairing the trampoline mat may not be cost effective.
so, if you're in need of trampoline repairs, there are options available either through repairing the trampoline yourself or having a trampoline shop do your trampoline repairs. Just make sure that it's cost effective and the product will still be safe after the trampoline is repaired.
