Spring Covers for Trampolines
Yes...you do need a trampoline spring cover!
It's only common sense to make sure no one gets hurt by pitching themselves in a spring....cover those springs up. Not to mention springs are metal and when body parts hit metal...it hurts.
To get a basic cover to go over springs, you're probably looking at $80 - $100. Which isn't a huge price to pay for safety...of course some trampoline spring covers can cost much more if you want high-end product.
When looking for a cover, make sure that there is sufficient foam padding to help protect those using the trampoline. As well, you want to make sure that the tarp or outside of the trampoline cover is made of decent quality material...usually the thinner the easier it is for the material to rip.
Spring covers are important make sure you get one if yours doesn't exist or is in need of repair.

I spent about 3 months researching for trampolines for my kids and I am the most cautious parents out there. If you have kids you know. Safety is the key. And pricing is everything. Some places are very overpriced because they are all over the internet. I recently purchased one from ijumpusa and I must say, I can't be any happier.
